Huge Lavender Blooms Each Season

Why Vitex Chaste Trees?

The Vitex Chaste Tree is a must for bold color and large, full blooms. Even better is the fact that it s great in the ground or in a container, making it a versatile favorite for any landscape.

Plus, the Vitex blooms across several seasons. That means color and fragrance for months at a time…all without any hassle from you. The Vitex is drought tolerant, cold hardy, and perfect for delivering effortless color.

Clusters of fragrant lilac blooms emerge in early summer and last well into the fall. The enticing smell of the flowers will fill up the yard and attract an array of wildlife, from butterflies to bumblebees to birds. The Vitex is your ticket to the best-yard-ever title in your neighborhood.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

The best part of your Vitex is its strong beginning. Unlike other lower-maintenance varieties offered at big-box and major garden centers, your Vitex is grown to last season after season. And we never ship bare-root.

Basically, we ve done the hard work so that you don t have to. You get intact, healthy roots in nutrient-rich soil, better branching, and bolder color, season after season…all delivered right to your door. You reap the rewards of our hard work.

Order your Vitex Chaste Tree today, and enjoy blooms in the very first year!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant your Vitex in an area that receives full sun (6 to 8 hours of sunlight daily). Well-drained soil is also best for the Vitex Chaste.

Dig your hole about twice as wide as the rootball, place your tree, and backfill the surrounding soil. Once you ve finished planting, water the surrounding area and mulch to conserve moisture.

2. Watering: Water once or twice weekly, or simply check your tree s surrounding soil. It s time to water your tree once the soil is dry around 2 or 3 inches down.

3. Fertilizing: Feed with an all-purpose fertilizer once a year in the spring.

4. Pruning: Prune in the late winter for shaping, and remove any dead or broken branches throughout the year.
