Planting & Care
1. Planting: Start by selecting a container that s about twice the width of your plant s shipped container, and ensure it has drainage holes. The Rising Sun prefers partial sun to partial shade, about 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
Place it near a sunny window, in an area with some shade during the afternoon. Once you’re ready to plant, use organic soil, place your plant in its soil, backfill and then water to settle its roots.
2. Watering: Water your Rising Sun frequently, around once or twice weekly, so that the soil is moist but well-drained. If you’re not sure when to water your plant, simply check the soil 2 to 3 inches down – if it’s dry, it’s time to water.
3. Pruning: Simply remove any dead or damaged foliage to keep your Rising Sun growing strong.
